2012 – YogaHub Virtual World Yoga Conference

Students making machines with their bodies

Happy New Year to you!  It’s hard to believe that 2011 has passed and 2012 is now here bringing the promise of all goodness to each of us.  With this new beginning comes an opportunity to commit to what’s important – health, wellness, family, and having a balanced life.  You can reinforce that intention by taking action, by doing the things that have a positive impact on your commitment.  Participating in YogaHub’s Virtual World Yoga Conference,“Yoga, Meditation and the Philosopher’s Stone,” a 5-day event held on February 7-11, 2012, is one way to build momentum for your intention.  Join me.

I’ll be teaching two sessions,  Shake, Rattle and Move:  Wake-me Uppers for Kids and Moving from Within.  The kid session will offer you activities and exercises to help energize your child or students.  Many of the ideas can be found in my book Creating the Peaceable Classroom.  They are especially useful as an antidote for the afternoon slump when circadian rhythms slow down for many causing drowsiness, making attention and focus at school difficult (for us at work too).  If your children are at home at the time of my session, have them join you as you experience these fun, revitalizing techniques.

In the other session, moving from within will happen after exploration of your outer-self, warm-ups for your physical body, and breath work take place.  You will connect to and expand your heart center, your spirit-self.   From your heart center, supported and enlivened with HeartBreath™ (the heart and lungs moving as one), your movement will be an expression of your Divine essence.  It is a sacred expereince and one that I hope one will bcome a part of your personal practice.

Along with my sessions, you’ll learn from some incredible teachers, including Amy Weintraub, David Berceli, Cherie Sohnen-Moe, Nischala Joy Devi and Dr. Glenn Wollman – just to name a few.

There will be more than 75 workshops that will explore:

* The Healing Path of Yoga, Meditation, and Breath

* The Art of Letting Go with Effortless Freedom

* How to Relax Your Mind & Body Into Tranquility

* Eating Organically on a Budget

* Plus Many Topics for Wellness Professional

* And much, much more…
